This is a drag because I backed up all my essential files to that
machine, so I could drag them back through the LAN. I know the
machines are still connected, because I can ping each one via the
other successfully, and can play multiplayer games without difficulty.
Maybe a logon problem? I only set up one account, mine, and I never
get a logon prompt when XP starts, maybe my ability to access the lan
is disabled?
Nothing is visible in the My Network Places box.
Dial-up Networking is working flawlessly.

Funny thing, now I can see my XP machine from the Win98 machine, and
can see the drives I shared from the XP machine, but can't see the
Win98 machine from the XP machine.
