I want to disable the XP firewall, but under Help/Firewall, it says to go to
the Advanced tab, then Internet Connection Firewall. However, I do not have
a Internet Connection Firewall under my advanced tab. What can I do?

Go to your Local Area Connection status.
Select the properties button, and then the Advanced TAB.
Deselect the Protect My Computer .....

Get another Firewall.
You can get ZoneAlarm for free. It's very good, and very easy to config.
