If I delete Window's temp. files _ONLY_ by using DISK CLEANUP, do
the deleted temp. files go to the "recycle bin"..........or are they
truly gone for good?

Depends if you have it set to delete files to recycle bin or delete

I think they're gone for good, but if you really want to know for sure,
why don't you try it?

@v14g2000yqm.googlegroups.com:
Use ccleaner.exe, it realy kills trashcan, logfiles,tempfiles etc, etc.
Default settings are fine, but you can tune those to your taste.

If you Empty the recycle bin, they are "truly gone for good" - as
much as Microsloth makes them gone. (no file is truly "gone" until all
of the file space it had allocated is overwritten.)
