I keep losing the ability to access help files.

I lose access to the help files. I have to reinstall XP on top of itself to
get it back. After a few days the help goes away again. Anyone have any
ideas.

It's a pretty difficult problem, perhaps. Either do without the help
files or disconnect from the Internet?

I'm being a wag here, so don't listen to me.
