Hi,
My desktop display has for no reason that I know of started to display the
image in a series of multiples of the picture instead of just the one. This
occured when I was changing it to a new one. I've done this many times &
never had this happen. I checked in control panel/display/desktop & there
are 3 options- tile (which is the mode it put itself into), centre &
stretch, none of which puts the desktop wall-paper back to how it was, i.e.
spread across the whole screen as a single image without being distorted.
It's strange because I have never touched any of these settings, the images
I chose just displayed across the the full width of the screen and as as a
single image.
Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks

So! What was the resolution and Aspect ratio of your old Monitor?
AND Were you using it at that Maximum??

Stretch only goes so far ;)
Then Tile might be a better choice (Or simply get a bigger picture)

Start regedit, expand and highlight the following keys and look in the right
window for "WallpaperStyle". If you find it, delete it. You may have to
restart the computer for the change to take effect.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Policies\System

the new image is of lower quality than those before...ie less pixels. Higher
def pictures are best suited to desktops.
