Adobe flash player audio stutters

In Youtube I am experiencing lots of Adobe Flash Player audio
stutters. The problem seems to be worse when moving the mouse on
another browser page to the one showing the video. I am running Flash
Player 11.2.202.208 in XP with SP3. I did a disk clean up and
defrag. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Player, and also
turning off hardware acceleration. What else can I do? Thanks.

rather than onboard sound, it may be worth trying it in another
slot (sometimes the IRQ allocated to a slot is shared with other
devices on the motherboard which don't interact well with sound
cards.)

mm I have similar problm. Some weeks ago noticed when listening to npr and youtube vids the audio is not godd, thre is a noise, and sometimes a small stutter. I use chrome

I "fixed" that using ie, no more stutter.
hate to open the other browser but that is my temporary solution for now
