Blackice is way more secure than Zonealarm. Install just about any proxy or
mail-server to see what I mean.
Zonealarm has several known exploits, whereas BID has one, which is off by
default.

I am sick of having people tell me about how wonderful ZoneAlarm is...
If it was so wonderful, why do I have people breaking into my office
computer??
Black Ice on my MS 98 & ME machines is keeping the riff raff out.
I also just bought a router which will slam the door on them.

My experience is that the REVERSE is true, what information do you have
to show that Zone Alarm is *NOT* secure?
