To anyone that can help:

I am trying to change the default screen saver that Windows XP
Professional uses when it sits idle at the logon screen. It would be nice
to see something besides the black screen with the Windows XP logo. I have
searched my registry and have found many instances of logon.scr for that
screen saver (which resides in c:\windows\system32). All of the screen
savers that I would consider using reside in c:\windows. Which registry
entries do I need to change to change that screen saver and what path do I
need to enter to get it to recognize the screen saver in c:\windows instead
of c:\windows\system32? Thanks!

Joshua

Have you tried right clicking on the desktop and selecting properties then
SCREEN SAVER? That's what a normal person would do.

A normal person would also read the before answering it.

The logon screen is at a different resolution than the standard screensaver.
