I've tried the Beta ones from the FTP site but they don't seem to work...
They install fine and look like they will work but when they start the
"handshake" with the ISP they just loose the plot and won't connect... I've
tried them with a number of different ISP's just in case, but still no
luck... (strange that they install and dial okay...???)
I've been onto Diamond and still no drivers are being released..., and they
can't give me a date when..., great..!!!
The other option is buy a new modem which is increasingly becoming
favourite..., bit annoyed about all this as the modem is only 6 months
old..., and you get a guarantee with Diamond of 3 years..., which is not
worth the paper it is written on...
If you are looking to buy from Diamond (SonicBlue), then my advice is to
think twice... They do not look after their customers..., go for a big name,
3COM etc...
As I say if anyone out there has the Supramax USB (SUP2920) and Windows XP
Pro I'd love to here from you...
All I can say, is keep checking Diamonds site for new drivers.

Can't help but feel that they are pulling the wool over people's eye's
here.. :(
1 download the supramax beta driver for XP from ftp.diamondmm.com
2 install the driver
3 when installed go to modem, properties, advanced and enter the
following initialisation string in the box provided +MS=V90,0
worked great for me

I've tried using AT&F+MR=1;+MS=V90 and that didn't work...., but It did
dial, handshake okay... Only stopped prior to verifing username and password
bit...., which was a lot further than I got before....
Was your install of Windows XP a fresh one or an upgrade from WIN98....?
Add +MS=V90,0 to the Init String and then....
ISP Properties then modem configuration
Turn off
enable hardware flow control
enable modem error control
enable modem compression
Bingo..., connects at 56k too...!!
Hope this works for you..
Colin
i got it going on a clean install of XP, i did try other init strings
but the one i posted here was the only one to work for me... I imagine
there will be a final driver very soon from diamond, fingers crossed!
