there is a good chance that you wont run into problems, if when you do
activate you get a message saying that the product is already activated or
whatever then you must phone M$, just tell them that your other PC doesn't
work anymore and you have junked it.
Come up with a plausible story, you shouldn't really need to but it would be
easier to tell a white lie than to explain the ins and outs of a cats arse
hole to these dumbfucks they stick on the phone.

Yes. Simply uninstall it from the forst PC, and install it on the new
one. At worst, you may have to call and activate over the phone.

If you transfer the harddisk to the new computer, you'll
ned to have the license re-activated through MicroSoft because XP reacts to
the changes in the hardware.
Othervise try to install it on a new harddisk and then let
it re-activate on-line.
I've tryed both solutions and recomend the latter.
