Anyone have any info relating to NHKSRV.EXE? I found a copy lurking in my
Windows folder after checking the list of running services in MSCONFIG,
where it's listed as 'Netropa NHK Server'.

File properties are as follows:
Size: 28,672 bytes
Date: 6 August 2001
Time: 13:41:48

I've since prevented it from running, with no apparent ill effects. Running
a search on Google came up dry, so if anyone knows what the heck this is and
what it's supposedly for, I'd love to know.

TIA

Dell uses Netropa software for their multimedia keyboards. This is the
program that figures out what to do when you press one of the
multimedia/internet buttons on the keyboard.

I had some trouble with the Netropa software- it kept hanging up my system.
I removed it and got a different keyboard.

Odd ... although I've never used anything more than a standard Logitech
keyboard on this PC, Device Manager reports a Dell keyboard in use:

"Dell Enhanced Quietkey 106/109 日本語 PS/2 キーボード"

(copied as it appeared on my PC, junk characters included).

Anyone else experienced this?

Oddly enough www.netropa.com also led right to a program.
