Hello

When i run this it tells me it can't run because group strategy (french
translation) is not installed or not properly installed, I have searched the
MS KB and the windows components install and there is nothing there, how do
i solve this ?

well I'm running a french system on a french HD with a french computer....

and even in france we have gpedit.msc.

Hm.... i'm sorry mate, all I can think of is that it's a botched install.
The file didn't copy correctly, try coping it off the XP cd.

well, the gpedit.msc file IS on my system, but do you have the file names of
the group strategy "components" cause these are the ones I want...

ok, got it

for some mysterious reason the framedyn.dll file was not in system32 anymore
but in system32/dllcache and in system32/wbem

now I've put it back in system32 and it works

Hi

I have made a clean install of xp prof. (system info. says: Microsoft
Windows XP Professional, Version: 5.1.2600 build 2600).
BUT, the gpedit.msc is not installed (have searched all of c:) and it is not
present on the installation cd eather.
Any suggestions to what to do now ( I would rather not complaint to supplier
of cd...)
