Hello,
I've got two computers (both Windows XP). A desktop and a laptop. The
desktop has a PCI network card and a USB wireless card. The PCI
network card connects to the internet and the wireless is set up for a
computer-to-computer network.

I've set the desktop IP address (for the wireless card) to be
192.168.0.1
And for the wireless card in the laptop 192.168.0.2
Now I've also installed the IPX protocol as well. For some reason i
cant even ping to each computers. I have no idea why. I'm really
unable to do anything.

I know the networks connect cause the little icon says so.
I really want to be able to PING to one another cause that way i know
that at least it's connected correctly. Ultimately, I want to be able
to share the net connection of my desktop.

Is this possible?

Thanks!

Are both computer connected to the same workgroup and is the firewall on the
wireless connection disabled.

Do you have ZA and if so try to disable it to see what happen's

Try and bridge the two connections on the Desktop. Click and hold the ctrl
key until both connection are highlighted. Then right click and select
"bridge the connection" from the menu.

Thanks for the help. I actually figured it out already.
For my laptop I just used normal DHCP. For my desktop the wireless
USB has the IP address: 192.168.0.1

Cheers
