How do I re-size partitions in XP?
I installed Win98 then shrunk down in size using Partition Magic
Then I installed Win XP UPGRADE - which give sme dual-boot Win98
(never use) and Win XP (Default boot). Whne I run Win XP a pop-up
regularly says C: drive is "LOW DISK SPACE".
So how can I increase C: size to stop this error?
AND / OR
Find out what XP process is writing to the C: drive and re-direct it
to the partition XP is installed on??
I havre removed a smuch as I believe I can from the partition
containing Win98.
Thanks
Clive

I installed Partition Magic 8.0 under Windows XP Pro
PM8.0 tells me the C: Partition is sized approx 7.5 GByte
However, PM also says C: drive has used 617Mbyte and 31 Mbytes are
unused. WinXP My Computer comes upo with the same stats for C: size.
So what has happened to the remaining 6.8 GByte on disk partition C:
? How do I get this space back and use this space?
Thanks

Linux makes you stupid
I resized the C: partition using PM 8.0 under Win XP, by making it a
couple of hundred Mb smaller.
Now , Win XP and Partition Magic agree on the C: partition size, used
space and free space.
Hence, WinXP can write secretly whatever it wants in the C: drive
Job done.
Any idea how I find out what WinXP process is writing to the C:
partition?
