Mouse Double Click Problem

Hi,

All of a sudden every click I make (more or less) is doing a double click!!
I've gone into the mouse settings and changed the speed to the fastest
required and this hasn't changed anything! It wasn't doing this before I
switched off last night so nothing seems to have changed!! Even just
clicking on New Post for this message brought up two windows!!!

It's and A4 Tech 3D mouse that I've never had any problems with before.

Please help!!
