dumprep 0 -k - slower startup time?

i have this stratup prog my msconfig startup bar - is it supposed to be
there and if so does anyone know what it does?
the command line is:
%system root%/system32/dumprep 0 -k
the reg location is:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run
if i remove - will i get a better startup time or simply more problems?
