Slidin' Through Here Yet Again

Happy New Year to any and all former webtv users who might happen to come through here and see this post.
So it has been something 14 years ago that I first got online with WebTV. I believe I finally managed to connect in August or September of 1999. I was then on pretty much 24/7 for the next 3 years until I had a malicious and fraudulent letter written to abuse accusing me of things I had never done. They booted and banned me instantly and then I spent most of the next 6 or so months purchasing many many used webtvs and setting up accounts under different credentials - but everytime they would find out and boot and ban me again. LOL, I just finally got rid of all those incapacitated webtv boxes and keyboards and other assorted webtv stuff a year or two ago. I had something like 12 of them before I gave up and just bought a real computer.
Anyway, I was just going through some ancient data cds and discovered I had a whole cd's worth of webtv scripts and stuff that I had saved as backup to my website back in the day. It got me to reminiscing about people and groups from back then. I cannot help but wonder what my friends from back then are up to these days. I hope everyone went on to happy lives and lots of love.
I wonder if even U99 ever still comes through here anymore?
I know it will never happen since we are all scattered to the winds but it would be sort of cool to have a huge wtv users reunion.
In closing, if you happen to be one of the people that I knew way back then know that you are not forgotten by me. So many people had such a huge impact on me then, more than anyone would have ever known. It was a grand and glorious and fun time for me and I appreciate each and every person who was a part of that tightly knit community of wtv users.
