Yes. It installed without any difficulties on my desknote computer.
It's Debian-based with some proprietary additions. There are now two
versions, the more expensive one supporting "crossover" emulation
of Windows programs. It's a distribution that tries to be as close to
Windows as possible but still true to Unix/Linux. Reviews here:

What about this "crossover" emulation?

How good is the support of MS Office 97 or 2000 (including MS Access??),
MS Project and Visio? [PLEASE: Don't start a discussion about using
Open Office or Abiword or ... these are nice programs, I use them on my
private PC at home and I like them ... I am just asking because the
company I work for uses MS and they insist that I so, too. THANX.]

I don't know. The first and last Microsoft software I bought was
Windows 95.
