Redhat 8.0/KDE 3.0.5-1 (just upgraded) and Moz 1.3a 2002111908 XFT
This XFT build worked fine with KDE 3.0.4-1, and in all respects, the rest
of the KDE upgrade went fine (solved a few other issues as well), but now,
initiating a download locks Moz solid with 100% CPU resources. The download
dialog never pops. Likewise, attempting to post a message locks up solid.
FWIW, Netscape 7 wasn't similarly affected, nor was Opera 6.1, or
Konqueror. Any suggestions? I already tried refreshing the browser RPM.
Thanks!

Got it resolved. Apparently, something in the KDE upgrade process mucked
up the existence (or perceived existence) of MozTweak. What conditions I
had set within, combined with it's apparent disappearance caused the
problem. I removed the moztweak jar file, and all references to it from
prefs.js. Re-started Moz, and all was fine. I just installed MozTweak
again, and all remains fine. So. . . basically, who knows? The ways of
computers are often dark and mysterious.
