Hello,

i'm sorry for my bad english, but i'm from germany.

I've one question to Ubutnu 9.10 which i have installed
on a acer aspire 6530G notebook. This Notebook has a TubA CineBass
Booster which makes the sound better, but under Ubuntu is this subwoofer
not really good when i try to play music ... it sounds really like metal.
Under Windows 7 is this not... how can i change the setting for the
subwoofer that the subwoofer is right active under Ubuntu? I can't find
any setting in the soundmanager.

Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Michel

Try a LiveCD of PCLinuxOS 2009.2 and see if they handle the audio any
better. Just a thought.

The reason I suggest this distro is that I have found it to be easier to
configure than Ubuntu. The fourth icon from the left in the tool bar will
take you to the Control Center and all things can be configured through
that panel. The third icon from the left will configure your desktop.
