I'm trying to get a copy of a film (The Night That Panicked America)
but, it seems, the only place it can be had is via Torrent from:-

https://thepiratebay.sx/torrent/6690431/The_Night_That_Panicked_America_%28Made_for_TV_1975%29

but when I click on the "GET THIS TORRENT" link, I'm told that "magnet
is not a registered protocol.", so how do I make it a registered protocol??

When I click on the "GET TORRENT FILE", I'm offered a 29.2KB BitTorrent
seed file (from https://torrents.thepiratebay.sx), which I can,
apparently, open with KTorrent. Do I first need to download this file,
run it in KTorrent, somehow, and then I'd be able to download the other
Torrent??

Anybody here download torrents and be able to guide me?? (When I go to
Help in KTorrent, the KTorrent section of Help is empty!!)

TIA

Daniel

Just copy the link, then open ktorrent.

It may already be pasted, if not just paste it in

I was not able to get the file downloaded, so I asked one of my
brothers-in-law, who regularly downloaded movies, etc., if he would have
a try.

He e-mailed back about three hours later to say the download was complete!

Sorry for the double post of this message.

This is happening regularly today, probably because my internet
connection is marginal strength.
