Hi
I installed Mandrake linux 7.0 on a 40 gig hd with Ahlon slot 900 and
256 mb ram
Went swell and KDE is slick
Came with Netscape and I set up server names same as my Windows version
of Netscape.
I moved the network cable for my Motorola surfboard3100 one-way cable
modem from the back of my Windows PC netwaork card to the back of my
Linux machine netwaork card, but it won't surf anywhere. It can't find
any of the web locations I put in the URL
Mean anything to anyone? Thanks. JH

Whoa, you can't just plug in the UTP cable and go. It's not your Netscape
settings that are causing trouble - you have to configure your network
interface. Try looking for '+linux +"cable modem" +howto' (minus single
quotes) on google.

Luminary.
