OK, I just installed Mandrake 8.2 on a spare harddrive and slapped it in my
PC. Now, I out Linux on its own drive with no boot laoder. This will make
it easier for me to try distibutions, get rid of it, etc. Anyway, the
problem is to boot to Linux I have to enter my BIOS and fiddle around.
Takes too long. Is there any type of command I can enter into my windows
boot.ini to boot to the linux drive?

IDE Info:
Primary Master: DVD-ROM
Secondary Master: Seagate 2 gig (Linux)
ATA100 RAID Controller: WD 120 gig w/ Win2k,ME,XP and a storage partition.

Any help greatly appreciated.

P.S. This is my first EVER post with Linux...hopefully not the last.

There is a third-party utility for NT systems that can make the necessary
boot image and create the appropriate entry in boot.ini. It is called
BOOTPART and the URL is http://www.winimage.com/bootpart.htm
