I had to migrate a courier imap server in a hurry to another machine.
I just copied the complete directory of the imap user to another
machine. I installed the necessary utilities and it mostly works fine.

There is one small problem. With some email accounts I get the
following errors:
fetchmail: Server certificate verification error: self signed certificate
fetchmail: Missing trust anchor certificate: /C=NL/ST=./L=Amsterdam/O=Versatel/OU=Consumer/CN=pop3.versatel.nl/emailAddress=postm...@versatel.nl
fetchmail: This could mean that the root CA's signing certificate is
not in the trusted CA certificate location, or that c_rehash needs to be
run on the certificate directory. For details, please see the
documentation of --sslcertpath and --sslcertfile in the manual page.
fetchmail: Warning: the connection is insecure, continuing anyways. (Better use --sslcertck!)

So it looks like the certificates are in another location. Which
location? Then I can copy those also and have the problem fixed.

Possible locations...
/etc/ssl/certs
/etc/ssl/private
/home/user/.ssh

At the moment I resolved it with sslfingerprint, but I shall look into
those locations.

Not possible, because I copied the whole user directory. Is it an
option to place it there? If yes how? Then the problem would not
emerge if something like this has to be done again.
