TW update kills Yast

[bad sector]

Yast launches in gui or ncurses but then no modules launch when
selected. The gui is dead-fish silent as to reason, the ncurses version
shows:

"UI Syntax Error
Couldn't load plug-in ncurses-pkg
Check the log file"

Download the following packages at opensuse.org:
libyui-qt-graph8-(foo.bar).rpm
libyui-qt-pkg8-(foo.bar).rpm
libyui-qt8 -(foo.bar).rpm

and (re)install them with sudo rpm -Uhv --force *.rpm or sudo zypper in *.rpm.

Thank you both for the help, being a lazy POS i went with Carlos'
suggestion although <poetic-justice>it ended up being a little more
involved</poetic-justice>.

Bottom line, Yast now works. I 'had' done a zypper update however, to no
avail. I guess that's because allow-vendor-change is the default there.
Maybe it shouldn't be.
