stale nfs mounts in rmtab

hi,
My /var/lib/nfs/rmtab contains host which do no longer exist. The net
tells me these can be removed by fixmount. Fixmount does not exist on my
slackware box. Is there a slackware way of cleaning rmtab without
stopping rpc.mountd and rm -rf ?
