Slackware 12.1.
I use mpg123 OK, next day I try to use it again, no joy, so I reinstall
it, works until next time. Any ideas

What would change them from one day to the next?. I was wondering if there
is a conflict between mpg123 and another music program.

mplayer (when mpg123 does not work)
YouTube.

Will have to do a bit of researching on the libs used.
