bootsplash kernel patch

Hi guys:
I'm trying to install bootsplash in slackware 12.1, kernel 2.6.24.5
but i can't find the kernel patch, does anyone know where i can find
it???

bootsplash.org is a pretty darned good place to start.

Apparently superseded by splashy in userspace:

Superseded by splashy and other projects. For people allergic to
Debian stuff, there's fbcondecor,
