If I switch to desktop #2 and then I open a VNC Viewer window at full screen, how do I get back to desktop #1 ? I no longer can see my taskbar when in full screen mode, which is what I want but I don't know the key sequence to switch desktops.
Thanks
Mike

F8 does not work. That only works to switch between terminals. I am talking about changing desktops in Gnome or KDE. You have 4 by default, IF I am in #2 at full screen with no task bar, and I need to get back to #1, how would I do that?

F8, uncheck "Full Screen" - Gnome control panel re-appears - select new desktop.

F8 does nothing but gives me a blank screen. I know that F1 will open a new console and F7 will open my current X-session. These are not what I want. Possibly I am not asking the right question. I guess I will resort to running VNC Viewer not in full screen ;)
