Email server....what would you do ?

Hi there fellows,

I'm looking into building an email server using an old PC (P166) and I would
like to have a super-easy-setup-not-to-much-administration-type-of-thing
software... What would you guys recommand ??? Where can I find it ???

This one looks great, but like you said , its far from being free... pluis I
want to run my mail server on a P200, with a 5 gig hard drive and 64 mb of
ram... any other ideas ?

Why wouldn' t you just stick with postfix through using mandrake.

I think it is just super easy.

I'm running a home gateway on a P33 with a 2 GB drive, and my choice was
e-smith server v.5.0, from http://www.e-smith.org. It's a quick, painless
install, so long as you use one hard drive.

Mandrake is on my workstation desktop but I think it's overkill for the
mail/web server.

Thats what I did, and itsw working great, thanks !!!
One weird thing is now that I cant send using this server trough Outlook...
I can receive in Outlook, but I cant send... wont connect to server to
send... weird... any ideas ?
