For the one who asks for and accepts forgiveness for their sin by
what Jesus Christ did for them at the cross, that blessed cross
where He took on our shame, where His blood poured out in our
place, where He transferred our sin onto Himself, and where He
then left this Earth to go and pay the true price of that sin
before God Almighty to the point where He was crushed ... yea,
that soul is on the right path because they embraced truth, they
grabbed hold of it with both hands and would not let go.

Based on where you are, you ARE on the right path today. The only
question is ... is the path you're on the right one to be on?

IT IS the right one for where you are, but is it the right one for
where you want to be? Ask yourself that question, and ponder it
when you are alone, in silence, with only you and your thoughts.
Ask yourself if you are on the path you want to be on given the
eternal future ahead of you?

His domain, and it is splendid beyond imagination. It's what He
has in store for all who return to Him from their sin and sin-

before sin entered in and destroyed everything.

Jesus loves you. It's why He came here to this Earth ... to
save you. He came to make a way Home for you. He came because
He wants you to be with Him where He is in the paradise of Heaven,
seeing all things He has in store for you, in all their full glory.

I don't normally see any of this, I'm glad to say. But when I do get a
glimpse as to what's going on to spoil this once-great newsgroup I am
saddened by it - but I am at least reassured that I was right to
killfile _both_ of them. I remember you, Rod, queried me killfiling
Peter, and I wondered about that. But I wonder no longer. :-(

It's a pity, IMO, that people here have engaged with Rick's preaching.
All they have accomplished is to tell him that a.o.d is a place where he
will get a response. And that, in turn, encourages him to return and

You can't find Him, but He knows who seeks diligently for Him, and He
reaches in to that person's life and makes discovery possible.

It's all God, yet He still includes man in His plans. It's not by
our merit, but rather His gift.

It has to do with the source of the authority for Christians to go
forth and teach, and the message being taught. While there are
aspects of the posts Peter makes which are from my original posts,
they have been twisted into a purpose and intent that is hateful
and harmful. As such, they are tainted by that usage.

As for me, I serve the Lord with my life. I teach the things He
first taught me. I point you to Him to go and see for yourself.
I instruct you on the things the world won't teach you, that you
do have sin, that you are already guilty before God, and that what
Jesus is offering you is the only way out of that condemnation you
will ever receive.

I do this because the Lord first saved me, and has instructed all
Christians to do so. I also care about you because you are someone
who has interests in some of the same areas I have interests in as
well (OS development at a minimum).

will either resonate with you and you will be saved, or it will serve

No. I fell into sin, but I never rejected Christ. In fact, He came
and rescued me from that situation because He knew my heart was truly
focused upon Him, because I had been born again.

Christians are still in this sinful world, in these sinful bodies,
with me having almost 35 years of inertia on how to live pulling at
me continually, and an active enemy working against me who stepped
up his game against me when I was saved... It all adds up to a great
trial, and I failed. I fell hard on my face, hurt many people, and I
have to live with the ramifications of those choices made back then.
It's been painful and hurtful to many, the very intent the enemy had
when he set his sights on me to take me down in my service to the
Lord. But, because I was serious about my love of God, and I had
really been changed by being born again, God came and pulled me out
of that pit, and set me back on a path which has led to my restoration
over the past 8+ years.

If you'd like to hear the testimony, it's quite amazing. It involves
a great many factors coming together to set me up in a place where I
could not have even gone back if I had wanted to, which I didn't.

God is able to rescue those who fall into pits and traps. That does
not make us guiltless in our falling. Jesus will pay the price for
my sin, but He is willing to do that because He wants to save me more
than He wants to punish / judge me.

It is the same for all people and all their sin, including you, Rod.

You consistently mock the Lord by looking at everything with a
skeptic's eye assuming initially that the Lord is wrong, that the
Bible is false, and that all Christians are fake or misleading at
best.

The truth is the opposite: The Lord is right, the Bible is true,
and while there are Christians who are fake or misleading, you
will know those who are truly regenerated by their fruit. And
not just as a snapshot of an instant of their life where they fell
in some way, or lashed out in some way, but as the pattern of life
as you watch them over time, seeing their guilt when they fall, or
seeing their change over time.

It's a real thing at work in this world, Rod. It is given to you
as an example, and it is there with all its flaws so you will know
that it is real, and that we (Christians, man in general) still
struggles in this world, and that the hope Jesus gives us is here
on our insides, but also complete in eternity.

Consider these things, Rod. Think about them and don't just mock
them.

Clearly, you're not accepting lessons straight from the Bible, which I

Rod, Jesus offers you forgiveness of sin and eternal life just for
the asking. It is His gift to you, to save you from sin. It is
laid before you, the offer is on the table. Jesus has already done
the hard part at the cross. You now need only receive His offer to
have eternal life.

The fate of your soul now rests in your hands by your choice. Make
it a good one. Think of an existence without sin, without limitation.
That's the existence God had in mind for us before sin entered in

Two years ago. It was Sep.23.2015, and 09.23.2015 on another calendar.

I wasn't the only one. Biblically, there were about 40 signs pointing
to that day. It's also the day Isaac Newton calculated in his life-
time.

I've spent a lot of time in reflection about those events. I don't
set dates any longer, because there's a verse in scripture which
speaks to the Lord tarrying, delaying for a time, and during that
time some of the people who called upon Him at one point fell asleep
and began living like the rest of the world:

All I can do is point you to Him, Melzzzzz. It's why I point you to
Him. I can't make you believe or receive. And I'm not judged on whether
or not you came to faith through my efforts, but because He has saved me
I reach out to others with that He reached out to me with for nearly 35
years. I was hard-headed and wouldn't hear ... until the day came when
I did hear. I don't know what that day will be for you or anyone else,
but therein lies my hope.

Jesus is real. He is found when you search with greatest diligence
for the truth. You won't be able to find the truth on your own, because
man's sin prevents us from being able to find it. But God examines our
hearts and minds, and He knows who is really searching and who is fully
content to operate within the hate and lies of this world. For all who
are truly searching for the truth, God Himself comes to that person and
makes it possible for them to find it. It will happen to them. It's
not something they attain. God physically changes a person on the inside,
which is what makes the transformation possible.

He brings new life, Melzzzzzz, and it is from within that new life that
our lives are changed, our hearts are softened and laid bare before Him
and all of mankind, our weaknesses are exposed, our frailties are made
manifest, and our resounding need for Him in our lives is made crystal
clear.

I pray you experience that transformation, Melzzzzz. You are valuable,
and I would like to see you living here on Earth for Him, and thriving
also in Heaven after leaving this world.

people seeking after sin. There are places you can go to find the

By surrounding yourself with the things of God, and reading those
words (His words, which are spirit), and surrounding yourself with
those people who are seeking after Him, and by seeking after Him
actively yourself, then the enemy is defeated and those sin-focused
draws and pulls are pushed aside, replaced with God's Holy Spirit,
and all guidance along those lines.

It's not a flesh thing. It's not a personal attainment thing. It
is part of our invisible components at work, our will, our inner
drive, our desire to seek the truth. He then does the rest, and
those evil spirits influencing us toward negative things are only
able to operate against our flesh. They cannot affect our spirit.
But it is a difficult walk, but if you are serious in your pursuit
of truth, God will take you through it, and His grace is sufficient
for where you fail.

I come before you today with a request for each of you. I ask
you to give it an ear and ponder it in your heart. Consider it

of your existence, the one creating you had a real purpose in do
doing. God created you with a goal of certain things He wants you
to do in this world, for example.

Think about this idea: That you were created, that you do have a
real purpose, and that you will go on after you leave this world,
and that you do have a choice today regarding how you will live
your life, and that the warning given you by your very creator is
that there is a real enemy here in this world, responsible for all
that we see wrong here, who seeks to mislead you, trick you, trap
you, and ultimately destroy your soul by leading you away from God,
but if you will give God an ear, and stop hardening your heart
toward Him, that He will guide you not only to safety in this world,
but to the fullest, richest prosperity in Him.

Think about this. Read it a few times. Make sure you get a clear
understanding: You were created specifically by God. You have a
real purpose, and there are two paths before you: one leading to
forgiveness for the wrong you've done, to be a part of God's plan
for your life, one that keeps you unforgiven in the wrong you've
done and is leading away from God and God's plan for your life.

God created you for greatness. He loves you. He will lead and
guide and protect and save you from all evil. But He also honors
you too much to violate His greatest gift to you: your volition.
He will not violate your free will to choose. But look into Him
and see how He's revealed Himself through His Son. The Bible
gives us a view of God that explains things in a way which really
resonates on the inside if you're willing to receive it. But if
you harden your heart, it will always only be a book of laughable
tales and fantasies.

The choice is yours, but the truth speaks to you. You were God's
creation. You were made special. You do have a purpose. And
you will go on after you leave this world. God has a plan for you
and will save you from everything bad, and give you a real and
secure future that dwells in fullest, richest prosperity for you,
His beloved and held dear, most special creation.

When the Lord changes you on the inside you have a natural compassion
and understanding for why people lash out and do what they do. It is

away, freeing us from judgment and condemnation before God. This alters
us from the inside out.
