It is only those things said and done against me for my teaching people
about Christ, or doing things in His name which are righteous, true,
holy, and proper, as per His teachings.
If I receive harm or am punished for doing wrong, that is not a bless-
ing, but is a right response for wrongdoing and is not to my credit.
But if I am teaching correctly, and I receive then such persecution
for those teachings, then it is a blessing.
FWIW, Christians do not have their feelings removed. When people say
or do things which hurt us ... it hurts. But it is our Lord we are
teaching about, and He is more worthy than the shame and suffering we
will endure here for His name. If you'll recall, He endured a lot of
unnecessary, undeserved shame and suffering as well. He did it for
us. I do it to honor Him and His request that I do it for you.
