Well I had a chuckle watching the news last night. Did you hear the
piece about a daycare or nursery school {in the Valley I think} that was
ripped off by someone who volunteered there or something. She cleaned
out their coffers ordering stuff from the Home Shopping Network and
paying with cheques written on the nursery school's account. ANYWAY,
they listed some of the things she'd ordered from H.S.N. and ONE item was
a "Bronzer" - WELL! I had to chuckle - wonder if Barbayella saw that one???

Have a nice weekend.

(Maybe I should ask her! :)) )

Yep, that happened right here in sleepy Falmouth. The 28 year old
"treasurer" hooked the day care for several thousand clams and some of
the things that she ordered from HSN was very odd to say the least.
BTW, doesn't Pete have a "bronzer"?
Made a point of watching Street Cents saturday morning. Spotted your
daughter. Those kids do a great show, eh?

Yep, Street Cents is a neat show. We were grossed out when Andrew (the
host narrating the piece) did the shot right inside his mouth - what WAS
that bump beside his uvula??? There was an in-service that day, which is
why you saw no other students milling around the halls. Those kids were
there with the CBC folks for 7 hours filming that bit, all
for...what..five min. of on-air stuff? Oh well, she got a toothbrush (I
was wondering for days where the extra tooth brush came from that suddenly
appeared in the bathroom) and a really nice long sleeved Street Cents mock
turtleneck out of the deal. The kids are all Applied Broadcast Journalism
students at Auburn - I'm telling you, the 2 broadcasting courses they
offer at that school are wonderful. AFAIK, it's the only high school in
this end of the country offering such a course. Jen liked the A.B.
Technology that she took last yr. much better than the jounalism that
she's taking this year. She'd much rather be *behind* the camera :). She
photographs well though..BTW, she looks nothing like me - you'd never know
she was my kid if you saw us together (there are a couple pics of me at
the modem moms web site). She is like her dad, physically. She has about
3.5 inches on me too :).
