Title: Youth Leadership Retreat Committee Meeting

Primary Purpose:
To train youth leaders in leadership skills and responsibilities.
Description and Background:
We will invite High School Class Presidencies to be our clients. They
will learn skills needed to become great leaders for their class
members. During the retreat they will become familiar with each others
abilities and learn to use those abilities to their advantage. They
will also learn why it is important to have everyone involved in the
activities, regardless of anyones capabilities.
We could include in the retreat our Jaycees Against Youth Smoking
program. The Youth Leaders will then take their new training to the
School and provide peer instruction to their classes.
The retreat will be Friday and Saturday starting with a bonfire bang
and ending with an awards ceremony. We will include instructors from
local businesses or government officials. The classes will have general
topics that will allow the instructors to use their best judgment to
give the Youth a great learning experience. Go to
