kill yourself, you will harm yourself and others. Suicide
is the only way to go.
Suspension hanging on a noose placed around the neck is the
most popular and fairly reliable suicide method. It may be
possible to eliminate pain by taking sleeping pills before
the suicide. To reduce the pain stand on a chair or a ladder,
place the noose around your neck, knot on your nape, then bend
your knees until the noose closes veins and arteries in your
neck. If you cannot breathe, reduce the pressure. When you
lose consciousness, you will fall off the chair, so your feet
will be above ground. If you stand on the ground instead of
the chair or ladder, you may involuntarily remove the noose
when you become unconscious. Make the noose from either 3/4"
rope or 1" leather belt. If you use the belt, secure its top
end with at least two wood screws.
Inert gas asphyxia is perfectly painless if you ignore the
pain of hauling heavy steel tank filled with nitrogen, helium,
or argon. Buy a strong plastic bag that is large enough to
hold at least 100 liters of nitrogen. Close the bag with half
a dozen of large rubber bands, remove air from the bag and fill
it with nitrogen. Hold your breath while you quickly slip the
bag on your head. Still holding your breath smear a thin layer
of cyanoacrylic glue (also know as crazy glue) on your hands
and put your hands on the bare skin of your thighs. Now you can
breathe. You will loose consciousness suddenly in about 15
seconds. By that time your hands will be firmly glued to your
thighs. For the next 5 minutes your unconscious body will
instinctively try to tear the bag before you die. Human body
reacts with panic to high levels of carbon dioxide, so just
placing empty bag on your head may not work.
Ratchet tie down strangulation is easy and reliable suicide
method, and is more comfortable than suspension hanging.
You can buy the ratchet tie down at automobile and some
hardware stores for $5-$10. There are two kinds of ratchet
tie downs: one kind has a long nylon web strap without hooks,
while the other has two straps with hooks. Choose the one
that has one strap without hooks. You can buy it on-line from:

Place the tie down around your neck, ratchet on your nape.
Use a small folded towel as a padding under the ratchet. As
you turn the ratchet, its compressive force closes jugular
veins, then carotid and vertebral arteries. Stop turning the
ratchet when you feel discomfort. You will loose consciousness
suddenly, 8-15 seconds after the blood circulation to your
brain has stopped. Your unconscious body will thrash around
for 5-10 minutes, then die. If you apply too much pressure,
it will close your airway, which is painful and unnecessary.
If you, however, do not apply sufficient pressure quickly,
blood will accumulate in your head. This will change color
of your head to blue-purple and may cause headache and
bursting of blood vessels in your eyes.
Painless poisons are rather impractical because they are hard
to get. If you use wrong poison, you may be in great pain for
days or weeks before you die. Success rate including slow,
agonizing death is only 10 percent. Start taking anti-emetics
three days before suicide to make sure you do not vomit the
poison. The best poison is pentobarbital. You need 120 mg
pentobarbital per one kilogram of your body weight, which is
about 10 grams.
Carbon monoxide causes headache and explodes when mixed with
air and ignited. Cutting wrists is a rather painful and slow
method. Other methods are either painful, unreliable, or
unavailable for the average person.
If you are going to donate your internal organs, register
yourself as the donor before committing suicide near a
hospital. Shotgun wound to head or neck will kill you if
you aim precisely.
Ratchet tie down strangulation is cheaper, but it
requires good planning and timing. To ensure good timing
send a test letter via human messenger from a hospital to
a police station. It should take about 15 minutes to deliver
the letter. When you are ready for suicide use the same
messenger to send suicide note from the hospital to the
police station. Better yet, use two independent messengers
to be certain that your suicide note is delivered on time.
Park your car near the hospital, far away from traffic and
other cars. Unlock car doors and use the ratchet tie down
strangulation method inside the car. Five minutes after your
death the police will read your suicide note.

Amy is promoting the ideal and it holds more value in
spreading this ideal than topping herself. Unlike you she has some
compassion for the planet and the species which suffer at our hands
every second. Like most humans you are in denial.
I suggest you learn something about bio-diversity and the human
relationship with the environment so you actually have some knowledge
to participate in a discussion.
The conclusions drawn by Amy are the highest examples of selflessness
and rational thought.

Well, I just came across this post and it makes me wonder how I missed
it....
Amy, raises an interesting point here, however after a little contemplation
I must admit that I came to some disturbing conclusions regarding this
matter.
For instance:
Suppose I decide that killing myself is the way to go and I come to the
conclusion that the way to go out is to jump off the top floor of a building
in a remote area that has long been abandoned by the cretins called humans
who had no more use for it. So there I am top floor and wanting to go out
with a little grace perform a swan dive from a couple of hundred feet up or
so, you know the type of perfection that would earn me a near perfecting
score for a group of Olympic judges, and lo and behold just before impact
and my inevitable doom, the sole surviving Alaska Tundra Rat (long since
thought to be extinct), crosses my path and...."SPLAT" I kill it along with
myself, forever robbing a potentially human-less planet of this wonderful
creature. In what way have I helped the planet then?
Or, suppose that I come to term with the fact that the only way to save the
planet is by the human race killing itself off. How am I suppose supposed to
spread "the good word" and try to convince others to do the same if I am
dead?
Further, imagine, I mean just imagine, if you found some charismatic leader
of the ilk of say, Jim Jones, to head up the cause of Human Self-Extinction.
And lets just say for arguments sake that this Jim Jones type leader somehow
manages to conscience 6 million people or so to kill themselves in a "save
the planet" mass suicide. What would be done with all of the bodies? Well,
to start there is no way in hell that they could be cremated as this would
undoubtedly add to the already obscene amount of pollution created by us
dirty humans. You have to admit that if it was your sole purpose in life (or
the ending of it, in this case) you could no more support the concept of
your body being used to kill the environment after your death than you would
polluting the environment while you were still alive. So, cremation is
surely out of the question. Ok, so what do we do with 6 million bodies just
lying around. We surely can't bury them. This would not only disturb the
precious top soil of mother earth but would greatly increase the chances of
misplacing some indigenous animals in the area where 6 million graves or one
mass grave was to be dug and that is not including the underground dwellers
of the earth like earthworms, moles, snakes and a wide variety of bugs and
other rodents who would not only be displaced but threatened with death by
the blades of shovels, back hoes and tractors. Assuming for a moment that I
subscribed to the theory of "kill myself to save the planet," I would cringe
at the thought that my body being responsible for so much torment and
destruction. Although the idea of just leaving a bunch of bodies lying
around is tempting because as we all know that when the bacteria start to
eat away, or decompose, human flesh, they emit carbon dioxide which would
really make the trees green. However, on the down side to the "leave 'em
where the fall" concept is that there would be huge amounts of disease which
due to the volatile nature of...well nature, could lead to a quick spreading
mutation of these disease and inevitably kill all known life on earth. So,
the perplexing question is, what do we do with all the bodies?
Of course, the above scenario not only applies to a mass suicide but would
also apply, assuming this concept caught on, to a growing phenomena of
individual suicides around the world. The simple fact is that at some point
if this concept were to really catch on and millions and millions of people
killed themselves for the cause, it stands to reason that by killing
ourselves we are not really doing the planet any favors at all.
The other possibility is that this is a rather creative idea to rid the
planet of environmentalists. Hmmmmmm......

your a revolutionary just imagine the good we can do for mother nature if
we killed off all the enviromentalists, surely this would equate to
approximately 1.5 % of the world's population, imagine the positive impact
on nature to rid the enviroment of these parasites.

The human population is rapidly expanding and we as a population seem to care less and less about the pollutants or others however suicide isn’t the answer.
Not only do you leave those behind that care about you, you leave a world that despite its issues has so much to discover, being on your own collecting memories or alone with your thoughts is how it should be or better still find someone to share it with.
Nothing and i mean nothing is worth suicide, despite the gutsy exit your just a coward, too scared to face the problems that are probably petty in the first place.
