WebTV can access any public IRC servers. From your home page, click on
"Community", then "Chat", then on the sidebar, click on "Go To". From
there you can enter any server/port to connect to. If you want to chat
with WebTV users, connect to chat.talkcity.com and check out #webtv,
#new2webtv or #rec.

I have Classic Webtv™ and I can chat in Yahoo chat. You just have to use the
HTML client. Its slowand ugly, and you don't get all the bells and
whistles,but it works. Peace, Donna

As long as the site doesn't require a "java-enaled browser", then web tv
can access any public irc chat room.

Java has nothing to do with IRC. I was talking about IRC servers. WebTV
can cennect to any public IRC server. I wasn't talking about Java
chatrooms. They're something comlpetely different.
