..was the name of a super computer in the movie, "War Games" (?1985)
with Matthew Broderick.

Joshua Wopr was programmed to play various games, one of which, was
"Global Thermonuclear War".

After many hypothetical Thermonuclear War scenarios were made and
analyzed, Joshua's response was,

"A strange game. The only winning move is not to play."

Hi flakey,

Re:

Good movie, classic, eye opener, ahead of its time. Humorous in a scary
sort of way.

Thanks for posting.

Hi COLONEL, you wrote:

I'm sure it is, maybe you are a world record holder, but the Joshua
"Wopr" has nothing to do with penis size or Carl's Jr. Restaurant.

WOPR is an acronym for War Operation Plan Response. As a military super
computer, it's science fiction, of course.

Hi,

Here is a wiki pic of the WOPR:

The "War Games" movie was made in 1983. It has some old but cool
technology from the beginnings of the Digital Age of Communications.

Shows the importance of Password protection and how passwords might get
hacked..
