Sorry about the triple reply but Agent showed my reply as not going
out so I kept trying until it showed as going!!
Sorry.
Charter's cap is 100G
If you move to the highest tier you get unlimited.
Today's email brought both that DSL-cap notice and warning that
DSL might get converted to U-verse, at any time, at the whim of at&t,
with whatever pricing changes at&t sees fit to impose. (sigh!)

One thing I and many failed to notice is AT&T starts charging per GB
overage after 3 warnings for going over your cap, I don't know how they
issue these warnings.
Usage caps could ruin Cloud applications [like backup and storage] and
cloud inovation for the future.

At the present time, U-verse Internet is sans TV, and ADSL2+ (not VDSL,
which is for IPTV). AT&T is apparently retiring ADSL hardware in favor of
ADSL2+; what they call, "IP-DSLAM" service. ADSL2+ without the PPPoE
authentication. And, when they retire the ADSL DSLAM, replacing it with the
IP-DSLAM, your choice: Stay, or leave.
