Hi yes i had the same problem neither server east or west would allow me to
log in.
3 online chats 3 phone rep chats later the last online chat tech i talked to
actually did his job and checked with the server level team and my problem
they said was because
I updated my credit card information for my account .
I had no choice the bank that issues the card i pay for my account with was
bought by capital one.
the only person who could actually tell me what the problem was was the 3rd
online chat tech i talked to.
It has something to do with some restriction that EarthLink has on its news
servers that they don't offer or allow news group access to new accounts
only existing accounts such as mine been with the company since 1996 when it
came to my state.
I even talked to a tech support floor manager and got the same story and
that i needed to wait up to 72 business hours for them to correct it.
Did any of you change or update youre credit card information and have the
same problem?
