Thanks
I don't believe it's in the pipeline and that they haven't yet implemented
it. They had to purposely filter out all other email programs from working.
They are trying to make it impossible for their subscribers to use any
services other than the ones they provide.

It is possible to use external mail programs with CS2000. All you need is
IMAP support.
Outlook Express supports this, Outlook doesn't. The settings needed are:
IMAP server : imap.cs.com
SMTP server : smtp.cs.com
User Name : CS2000 screen name
Password : The password for the said screen name.
That's all

Do you have to be dialed into CS2000 in order for these to work?

CompuServe wants their customers to be TOTALLY dependant upon them for all
of their Internet needs. How else can CompuServe "justify" their huge
bills?

Would you get a life? I'm tired of your sudden and inane rantings.
And learn how to use your newsreader. You can't criticize AOL when you
post like you're using it.
