Removing Favorite Channels?

go to channel you want to delete
hit your info button twice
hit fav button, should bring up screen to delete this channel from
favorites
this is one way, there may be others?

That way doesn't work at all. You get an error message saying, This
channel was already added to favorites.
Menu > Menu > Setup > Favorites Lists Setup > choose a list >
favorite button on remote > left or right arrow key to sort by
channel number > input three-digit channel number > favorite button
on remote to delete channel > cursor down to checkmark to confirm
Yes, in 30 easy steps, it's possible to do.

maybe for you, it works exactly that way for me
the screen popup says:
"This channel is a favorite"
X Delete from this Favorite List
ADD Add to another Favorite List
(/) Don't do anything

In order to have the option to delete a favorite, you must have arrived
at the channel by pressing the "Favorites" button on your remote.
If you arrived at the channel by direct entry or the channel up/down
button, you will *not* see the option to delete an existing favorite.
