Just wondering: why would anyone take a tattoo? Discontented with how your
body looks like? To emphasize your own personality?
And.. If you get a tattoo... Why then cover it up?

Well all of mine mean something.
my heart over my heart has two thorne vines wrapping around around it
and a dagger through the top, symbolizes a love that i thought was gone
from my life when my daughter and her father passed away.
the heart engulfed in flames symbolizes a fiery passion that comes from
deep inside my soul.
the pegacorn i have on my left hip, was done after late husband and i
began living together. he told me he wanted us to have matching
pegacorns mine on the left hip his on his right hip, to symbolize "a
love that he believed to be mythical until he met me" (yeah i know
romantic wasnt it ladies?)
my next tattoo that im having done is for my current boyfriend. he
calls me his "Tigress on the wings of love" so we're having the outline
of a butterfly with a Tigers face inside the outline done.
The one after that that im having done will go on my ankle. It has lots
of symbolism to it! it will be the japanese symbols for trust, honesty,
respect and communication, for the four major foundation blocks of any
loving relationship, which will be placed on the front, back and both
sides of my ankle. then between the japanese words will be Ivy's
symbolizes fidelity, and rose thorns with rose buds which symbolize the
beauty and ugliness in life. Without the ugly side of life one cant
appreciate the beauty found in life.

I dont. mine are all in areas that can be seen, except for the
pegacorn, and the reason its on my hip is because my late husband wanted
them there. Said we were like Adam and Eve and made to fit together.
planned them reall carefully so no matter if we were standing or laying
down they tat's were always a mirror image of the others tat. :)

pretty animals and stuff .... they sound really beautiful ,, and yes only
when you've suffered the greatest heartache can you truly appreciate the joy
... Oh God I sound like a preacher .. either feed me Vodka intraveinously or

not too many people expect a 31 year old to be widow patrick. I get a
lot of strange looks too when people find out. And then when you lose
your husband in Dec and your daughter 4 months later they look at you
even stranger. in a way it changes a person too. for instance, today if
i see something i want i go after it if its available. i also am less
afraid of telling others how much i care for them as a person and as a
person in my life :) but i could get real depressing sounding here, as
well as philosophical so, please, continue flirting and being your
normal cheese-y self LOL did i mention flirt?

LOL i have friends who tell me i have almost too much self-esteem. LOL
i stand 5'2 and i weigh 275. ive looked like this basically since i was
18 years old (a few minor changes from the briths of my children, and
life in general) but i grew up with a dad who told me i could be
anything or do anything i wanted with life as long as he never had to
bail me out of jail LOL so i took that literally and ran with it! LOL
today im 31 years old have my own real estate business, my degree in
chemical dependency counseling, working towards getting my doctorate
degree in psychology, and am currently expanding my real estate business
to more areas. hmmmm can we say over achiever? LOL needless to say i
am a hard worker and i believe that if i can dream of something then i
can attain that dream with that determination and drive :)

LOL i dont cover mine i think because society says im supposed to. Ive
never been one to really take what "society" says were supposed to do as
*MY* guidelines. I figure i have to be happy with myself before nyone
else can be happy with me, so i sort of go with that attitude, and if
"society" cant handle that then "fuck 'em" LOL yeah im a rebel too and
that helps LOL i dont have any dresscode for my employees other than
to not show bits or tits or bum LOL i dont care if they have 50
tattoos or a pierced nose or whatever as long as they can perform their
job and perform it at the level of standards i expect, and with the
utmost of respect given to whomever they are dealing with :)
