If you made a pact with the devil and then you became a Christian, who
does your Soul belong to now, God or satan?
Thanks in advance,

Noisey,
Excellent question. First, I am of the opinion that one's "soul" belongs to
no one but oneself. The soul would be under the influence of whichever
power an individual aligns himself with. This is supposing that there is a
being of "ultimate evil" and one of "ultimate good" that are embodiments of
the two natures of one's personality, although I'm of the opinion that God,
being the ultimate existence (as per the concept of Ein Soph, or of Brahman
in Hinduism), is far beyond our meagre conceptions of good and evil, and
transcends dualism itself.
If one were to make a pact with a demon or, in this case, Satan himself,
then one is willing to exhibit an increase in negative behavior and
literally take on the nature of such a being, thus being placed under this
being's "control," if you will. As such, as time progresses, one's
diabolistic tendencies become increasingly pronounced and, therefore, there
is a point in which one is unable to revert to one's previous behavior,
being too-far-gone to return to the opposing dualistic force (which is, in
this case, "good,") much less rise above dualism. Thus, in direct response
to your question, if one can change only outwardly to Christianity, it
matters little: religion is of little importance in this respect, since an
internal change is needed in order to break free from the effects of the
"pact."
If one is unable to rid oneself of negative inclinations and exhibit
self-control, then the "pact" would still be in effect.
Furthermore, to attempt to coerce a demonic entity into carrying out one's
will is flawed from the beginning: such a being would act only in accordance
with his own nature, as we all do; thus, any gain that would be found from
such a bargain would inevitably come to no good results, since this is not
desired by such a being. Such a being may cause good in the short-range, in
order to cause greater evil in the long-range. (And yes, this would include
evil against you, as well.) There is literally no way in which to compell a
demon or Satan to obey one's desires, even in the name of God, because such
a being would have little respect for God and man's desires, being outside
of them. Furthermore, I've found that God is rather passive in this regard;
that is, we create and control our own life as best we can, and we endure
the effects of our actions. There is no one to "bail us out," if you will;
rather, we have all the help we need: Reason, Intelligence, and what little
virtue we have in order to rid ourselves of the negative effects of our
actions, if they are developed. Just as a father warns his son against
certain actions and their effects, so does God warn us with our own
conscience and reason.
