Yod = Atziluth
Heh = Briah
Vau = Yetzirah
Heh (final) = Assiah
And that in the Tarot
Kings = Yod
Queens = Heh
Princes = Vau
Princess' = Heh (final)
Also:
Wand = Atziluth (Yod)
Cup = Briah (Heh)
Sword = Yetzirah (Vau)
Pentacle = Assiah (Heh - final)
So my question is how can all four Kings be both of Yod (Atziluth) and have
each of their suits be of a different World (Atziluth, Briah, Yetzirah,
Assiah)? The same for the other three (Queen, Prince, Princess).
Thanks in advance.
One way to look at this is to take a peek at the way the Tattwas are
classified into elements, and sub-elements.
For instance the King of Wands is Fire of Fire, the King of Cups is Fire of
Water, King of Swords Fire of Air, King of Pentacles Fire of Earth, and on
through the rest.
You've probably seen refrence to the Ten Sephiroth, each Sephirah containing
another Tree within it.
Another thing on the Minor Arcana...
The Suits themselves are asigned to the 4 Qabalistic Worlds , each of which
contain a full Tree.
The Court Cards represent the Sephiroth Chokmah, Binah, Tiphareth and
Malkuth( Father, Mother, Son, Daughter. ), and the Letters of the
Tetragramaton.
I Hope this clears things up for you a bit :)

I kind of figured that each had a subset of the elements within it, but I
wasn't sure - as I am new to this - so I thought I had better ask someone
about it.
Thanks again :)
