Ann,

I'd be very interested in where in the kabbalistic texts it says what you've
posted, as I'm always looking for new information to add to my own
presentations on dreams from the Talmudic and Kabbalistic viewpoint.

It seems to me, though, that the kabbalah disagrees 100% with the Talmud in
the two points you bring up and, for a change, I'll go with the Talmudic
beliefs on this.

> States in the Kabbalah that:
>
> 1.Every event that happens,is preannounced in your dreams. Events
> are predestined and are not by chance.

The Talmud states that dreams are 1/60th part prophecy only and, therefore,
much of any dream is useless information. Nor does the Talmud seem to hold
that all of our future events are given to us in dreams.

> 2.One cannot reveal their dreams lest .... a mirror to one's soul.

This one is also very much opposite the most basic Talmudic dictum regarding
dreams: A dream which is uninterpreted is like a letter which is unread.
Dreams must be revealed to dream interpreters since it is nearly impossible
for an individual to understand and interpret his/her own dreams.

I'd be happy to post additional information regarding either of these
points, taken from my lectures, if you're interested.
