That was Eastwood???

I thought it was Rev. Jim from "Taxi".

Either way, he was a national embarassment.

Perhaps one day death pools will become so prevalent that almost
everyone is playing or paying attention so that when Eastwood or some
other famous person dies it is said in the news that they have finally
become "on topic". instead of saying they died today, they become
'on topic' as in, "Clint Eastwood become On Topic today. Age, 82."
Or however old he is when it finally happens.

I agree with Loki. It is sad that he decided, or others advised or decided for him, that this format and this material would a) help his candidate or b) not be a personal embarrassment to himself. Hopefully this will fade away, along with the R & R ticket, and not even be an asterisk in what should be a wonderful, untarnished obituary.

I don't vote, never have and never well. What a bore. Same show
every four years with a few minor shows in between. I think the NFL
presentation every Sunday has more value and is more relevant than the
political presentation every four years. Watch it if you wish, have a
ball, it's not for me regardless of party. And if a good looking
third party comes along, that's going to be bullshit too if it becomes
strong enough to actually go anywhere. The policians every night
before they go to bed they get down and thank God for bringing new
children into the world to take the place of the old ones who have
caught on to the tiresome joke.

I don't know what they were thinking but Eastwood seems to have lead a busy personal life.

After reading about Eastwood I thought I would check on Bill Clinton's "personal life" wiki entry. Guess what? There was no personal life wiki entry for Bill Clinton. I suppose we know what they were thinking.

Clinton is an interesting choice for a convention speaker, but I don’t think he’ll be leading the anti-war on women crusade anytime soon. Some people can remember him being fined $90,000.00 by the judge in the Paula Jones abuse case, the loss of his law license, and his nearly $1,000,000.00 settlement with Paula Jones. Following him Wednesday night will be White Woman Who Speaks with Forked Tongue Warren. It promises to be a truly wonderful evening not to be missed.

Here is the official diagnosis for Harry Krause.
http://www.mcafee.cc/Bin/sb.html

Profile of the Sociopath

This website summarizes some of the common features of descriptions of the
behavior of sociopaths.

Glibness and Superficial Charm

Manipulative and Conning
They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving
behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly
hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be
used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims.

Grandiose Sense of Self
Feels entitled to certain things as "their right."

Pathological Lying
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them
to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a
complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing
and even able to pass lie detector tests.

Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core.
Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and
opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who
end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing
stand in their way.

Shallow Emotions
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more
feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by
insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a
normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.

Incapacity for Love

Need for Stimulation
Living on the edge. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal.
Promiscuity and gambling are common.

Callousness/Lack of Empathy
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt
for others' feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them.

Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval
produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating
hopelessness in the victim. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing,
entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for
their impact on others.

Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet "gets
by" by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant
behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc.

Irresponsibility/Unreliability
Not concerned about wrecking others' lives and dreams. Oblivious or
indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame
themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.

Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
Promiscuity, child sexual abuse, rape and sexual acting out of all sorts.

Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle
Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the
future, poor work ethic but exploits others effectively.

Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
Changes their image as needed to avoid prosecution. Changes life story
readily.

Harry's always been desperate to appear "normal". See how quickly he
latches himself onto the loser's bandwagon"? His posts attempting to
tweek you are as sad and pathetic as old man Feigel's break from reality.

And don't forget it is Harry Krause who has dirty baseboards and what
appears to be less than code work done on electrical wiring in his rental
home. Yes indeed....old Harry may be a renter. Apparently his name
doesn't appear on the property records of where he lives. Or so they're

Dirty baseboards? You mean, under a drywall wall with supporting studs
that was partially torn out to accommodate an additional breaker box for
a backup generator, with all manner of debris accompanying it, such as
insulation, wood chips, sawdust, pieces of black, red, and white wire,
wire nuts, and various other pieces of flotsam and jetsam? Yeah, it was
a mess there for a day. The next week, the drywall holes were repaired,
some trim was installed around the new electric box, and the area was
repainted. It's probably cleaner than the dishes in your kitchen.

The work was done by a licensed electrician working for a licensed
contractor. The work was done under a permit and the work passed
inspection when it was completed.

And, pray tell, what makes you think the work wasn't completed to code?
Are you, in addition to being a newsgroup asshole, a licensed
electrician or a residential electrical inspector who came by for a
close looksee?

No, I didn't think so. What you are is a bored little obstreperous
newsgroup bitch who gets off *trying* to annoy other posters. How do I
know that? Many reasons, including your cross-posting to other newsgroups.

It's too bad you're such a dried out, nasty old bitch. If you weren't,
you might be able to talk your loverboy NEWS into putting on a
chemo-bio-nuclear warfare suit and going down on you...to the place in
which your alleged husband long ago lost interest.

So you at some point you may have worked with or designed computer
circuits. That doesn't mean you know the NEC. And what specifically
makes you think the work doesn't meet code? There's no minimum height
requirement off the floor, you can't see any of the wiring, and the
movable bookcase was moved. So, what, specifically, is not to code?

And you are still cross-posting.

I asked you the same question about any significant "code violations,"
and you couldn't come up with any. How could you without seeing anything
more than the circuit breaker box or the hole in the wall in which it
was placed. There aren't any wires that have anything to do with the
circuit breaker box that are visible.

And what wouldn't you "approve, recommend, or have done" in your house?
The installation of an additional circuit breaker box, done according to
code?

You're exactly the sort of poster who destroyed rec.boats.

I've stated my position clearly. Perhaps if you'd gone to an accredited

Why not?

You're assuming I read all your posts or all the words in them. Your
assumption is as "off" as the rest of your posits. If you have a
valuable comment beyond the logical one, that you didn't inspect the
installation and therefore cannot comment on it, I will read it. Let's
see it. I'm not going mining for something you assume is a bòn mót, but
is really just more unintelligible or snarky nonsense on your part.

We live in a mostly rural county with lots of secondary roads and lots
of overhanging trees. When we have significant storms with wind and
lightning, some of the trees flop over onto the utility company's wires,
and we have power outages that range from a few hours to days or
sometimes a week or more at a time. As a result, sales of generators and
generator installs are common here, and the governmental utility
inspectors know what they are doing.

Oh, I'll be up in your area within a month or so. I usually visit my
boyhood and college friends in Connecticut and Rhode Island in early
summer and in October. I was in Providence for nearly a week earlier
this year.

Why would I assume YOU'D do anything logical or correctly?

Stop whining Harry. I am as usual, less than impressed with your lies and
excuses.

>We live in a mostly rural county with lots of secondary roads and lots

I'm very familiar with Calvert county, Anne Arundel as well. Took my
Corvette once to Bayside Chevrolet, across from Calvert Memorial. What a
rip off. Of course that was before the fire and subsequent rebuild and
remodel. I prefer to use Southern Tire in Charlotte Hall. They have
experts there for all makes and models.

SMECO? They're fantastic. As opposed to that horrible National Grid
we have in RI.

>and we have power outages that range from a few hours to days or
>sometimes a week or more at a time.

Harry, Ken still owns a home in Golden Beach. We rode out last year's
earthquake and Hurricane Irene there. With Irene we lost power at 8pm and
SMECO had it restored by 11:00 the next morning.

Hey I remember "The Glass Bottom Boat". I have to admit I'm a sucker for
Doris Day comedies.

Poor Harry. Can't even pilot a power boat. You can imagine the
cluster-f$#k he'd be on a sailboat. Harry claims to be coming up to RI in
a month or so. Wonder if he ever saw any of the America's Cup races off
Newport? My father had tickets every 4 years for viewing on either a
Coast Guard cutter or a Navy Destroyer. That was always a lot of fun. The
ship provided a light lunch and we got to see the races up close if the
weather behaved and the fog didn't roll in. :) Our hold on the Cup ended
when Liberty lost to Australia II but the better boat won. When Dennis
Connor re-took the Cup in Freemantle 4 years later I watched on TV in the
middle of the night some of the finest 12 meter yacht racing I'd ever seen.

It's too bad you can't used your warped imagination for something
useful, Asperger Boy.

I don't run down Missouri as a state. I am, however, disgusted with the
batshit crazy political turn to the right it has taken over the years.
When I lived in Missouri, it was conservative but progressive. No
longer...politically, it has been taken over by right-wing evangelicals.

I had a great time when I lived in the Kansas City area. I lived in
several interesting neighborhoods in KC, near the Country Club Plaza for
a couple of years, and then in a wonderful old house closer to mid-town.
I liked Kansas City, but I haven't been there in decades. I don't recall
posting anything "bad" about Kansas City. The years I worked for The
Star I traveled all over Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa, and was also sent
on a few assignments into Arkansas and Oklahoma. It was a great job.
After four years at The Star, I was recruited by The Associated Press
and accepted its offer.

St. Louis is another matter. I've been there in recent years. It has
noticeably gone downhill.

She's just another flaming ass, like you, although she seems a tad

I was born in and grew up in New England, and have lots of friends in

Harry has serious mental problems. His memory went long ago and what's
left of his mind is terminally diseased.

Anything is possible, but iBoaterer says it's his house because of the
filthy cat-pissed-on baseboards. Can you imagine *that* smell?

They must have also been Yale grads then? In my experience alumni data is
not made public.

Yep, Just checked RPI and one other university and " no joy" on alumni
records ie: search for your classmates stuff, unless you yourself are a
registered alumnus.

Of course YMMV.

Just snarky, not "because." You're snarky to at least half the many many
posters in alt.obits. I'm only snarky to right-wing assholes. Like you.

BTW, I do get quite the kick out of your gun talk. You're probably quite
the shooter at the summer arcades.

And then you go on for a paragraph and a half about me, Harry. You
actions belie your words.

If you don't like it in AO you can take your fat ass outta here.
Remember: YOU came into AO trolling me not vice versa.

Wrong again, turdbreath. I've been reading and occasionally posting in
AO long before your scent reached my nostrils. For a while, not long,
I've noticed you've been one of two batshit crazy attack dogs in here,
the other being your beau NEWS. I'd admit to going after the overtly
batshit crazy righties in rec.boats, but you two bare your fangs
indiscriminately.

but they have master lists of students who graduated from their school
