An interesting exercise. Just fill in the blank with the name of a (formerly?) prominent individual who has kinda dropped off the radar, and whose status as a living person might catch most people by surprise.

A few to get this started:

Doris Day
Lee Iacocca
Conrad Janis
Henry Kissinger
Don Larsen
Bruno Sammartino
Chuck Yeager

and, as a bonus:

the entire principal (recurring) cast of "The Love Boat."

I realize that, as followers of alt.obituaries, we are probably more aware of these than most, but perhaps a few unexpected names will still emerge.

Thanks in advance for any/all replies.

Bruno Sammartino killed all of them except for Chuck Yeager. Sammartino did the killings and Yeager helped load the bodies onto a space ship which he then piloted into outer space with Bruno as his co-pilot to dump the dead notable bodies off at the universe's first deep space Famous Person Cemetery.

Wilford Brimley plays older than his age. In his first role in The China Syndrome he was 35 but still came across as something of an old fart.

Joyce Randolph (Trixie on "The Honeymooners"). I believe she is the
only living member from any Honeymooners cast, from Gleason's early
DuMont days to the final ABC special. She's 93.

Virginia Patton, who played Harry Bailey's wife in "It's a Wonderful
Life." She is the only surviving credited cast member. (All the
Bailey kids are still around, I think, but they weren't credited.)
She's 91.

Norman Lloyd of "St. Elsewhere" and many, many others. He will turn
103 tomorrow (November 8).

I kind of have a mental blind spot about Ed Asner. I know he's alive,
but I keep thinking he's dead.

I was sure Nanette Fabray was dead until I saw her in something on TCM
and looked her up. Alive.

Just stumbled upon one that I have to add ...

Jean Kennedy Smith (JFK's sister); and in a similar vein
Edward Nixon (don't recall him as a very public figure)

No other presidential siblings still survive until we reach Bush Sr.

Loosely related to Presidential relatives, President Tyler was born in 1790. He has two natural grandchildren who are still alive. Tyler had children when he was in his 60s, they had children when they were in their 70s. The grandchildren are in their 80s.

Who's the oldest child of a president not on topic? I recently re-purchased Doug Wead's book on Presidential children (couldn't find my printed copy, $2.99 on Kindle) but don't have it handy to check. Excellent, and somewhat depressing, book.

I believe that would be Linda Bird Johnson (born March 19, 1944). She's 73. The
last to die was John Eisenhower on December 21, 2013. He was 91.
