So if he's really dead then all that means is you're using his death to get
yourself attention, just like you did with your now-dead wife.
Congratulations for re-hitting a low, Duckery. Congratulations.

For five years, now, still an unsolved murder that we intend to keep trying

So that explains your poem about your dead sister, Barbie:

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.arts.poetry.comments/msg/4df0ee90dd319289?hl=en%3Bfd72b6d1ef27c4

My sister, born: Sep 22, 1953, died: Oct 19, 1959

Vonnie Leigh

Humanity would never come to know
all the beauty you had to give it,
for the kiss you gave the rosary beads
took your life before you could live it.

Children too free for the dangers out there,
you were a mother who took care of me,
and would feed us whatever you could find.
You shouldn't have ate that day, Vonnie Leigh.

You would be proud of the man I became,
living life by the yard rules you taught me --
always help those who can't help themselves
and bugs are pretty if you just look to see.

Though days go by and my memory fails,
thoughts of you are still alive within me.
And I hope through me some will come to know
all the beauty that you were, Vonnie Leigh.

First of all, I doubt you have the social standing or the authority to lump
yourself in with "we."

Second of all, if it's five fucking years, why are you posting to Usenet
about it and why are you using it to get yourself attention and spam your
"works?" You are a lowlife disgusting imbecile, Will.

James Joyce of Dublin, Ireland, died Mon 13 Jan 1941.
Jane Austin of Hampshire, England, died Fri 18 Jul 1817.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow of Portland, Maine, died Fri 24 Mar 1882.
Robert Frost of San Francisco, California, died Tue 29 Jan 1963.

There they are, shit-spamming Goober, four more deaths you can
use as an excuse to spam your shit across multiple newsgroups.
And you're always quacking I'm not helpful. Tsk-tsk.

YOU learn to fucking read. I didn't *say* he wrote the piece, I didn't make
*any* connection to his being the author. I *said* how would *he* feel about
*you* using *his words* to get *yourself* attention?

Lots of asterisks there, so let me sum it up for you.

- I never said anything about him being the author
- You are backpedalling and dodging
- You are still using his words and his brother's death to get yourself
attention
- You are a disgusting scumbag

Perhaps we'll find out since I just emailed him to come over.

Again, if you'd learn to read, you'd see where in the original post Gene
Woolfolk clearly states -

''...It was very nice of Will Dockery to dedicate our performance at the

Loft last night to the memory of Albert. Maybe reminding everybody that
this
is still an unsolved murder will revive interest on our homicide unit's
part. Anyone with knowledge of who Albert was with or any information about
his death is asked to contact the Columbus Police Department's Homicide Unit
at (706) 653-3416 or (706) 653-3405 or contact Crime Stoppers at (706)

653-3188. All information will be held in strictest confidence.'' -Gene

And there lies the ONLY reason you have repeatedly
re-posted the post across many newsgroups with your
shit-spam attached to it. You could not care less
about Albert Woolfolk's death. And too bad for you,
moron Goober, you accidentally quacked what's very
obvious to everyone in all of those newsgroups.

So pathetic. So asinine shit-spammer. So Dockery.

Many of you know Gene-0 Woolfolk, my friend and music collaborator, and many
know the Woolfolk musical family. Albert Woolfolk would most likely be right
here in the thick of things, drumming and generally keeping things
interesting. He was murdered 5 years ago this month, though, so this is not
to be this time around. I've posted a memorial thread at

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.obituaries/msg/c0578f7a6cdfa623?hl=en%3Bfd72b6d1ef27c4

Main page-

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.obituaries/topics?hl=en%3Bfd72b6d1ef27c4

and hope all of you will drop in and have a word, a memory, or even
important facts on the life of Albert Woolfolk.

Thanks,

What? Those people are too well known to use for spamming your shit?
You prefer to only use the deaths of people who are unknown outside
of Gooberville? Well then, stupid Goober, buy a /Gooberville Ledger/
and waddle through its obits where surely you can dig up some unknown
whose death is good enough to post with your shit-spam attached to it.

Oops! You're too dumb to get a real job where you can afford to buy
a newspaper. My bad. I apologize. Hey, perhaps you could steal your
neighbor's newspaper? Just a thought. I really don't condone theft.

It's not my fault you're a goober. If you wouldn't have aspired
to be Gooberville's number-one town drunk and instead worked at
becoming a respectable and productive citizen, you could afford
to buy a newspaper to find some deaths to spam your shit with.
And if you would have worked at getting yourself an education,
then perhaps you would actually be able to write something that
is worth spamming. As is, what you 'write' is nothing more than
thrown-together incomprehensible illiterate shit.

Your failures are no one's but your own, Goober. Truth, eh?

(Truth that will be predictably goober-snipped, eh, Goober?)

In memory of Albert by Gene Woolfolk, Jr.

Current mood: sad
Category: Life

The date falls on exactly the same day as it did 5 years ago. Therefore,
this makes things much more memorable. And, in five years passing, I really
feel we don't know much more than we did the day Albert's body was found.
Who killed my brother, my mother's son and "baby", and he was a friend to
many of you. Can you imagine the horror my mother must have experienced
that Friday, July 18, 2003, when she entered my brother's home and
discovered his lifeless body slumped down against the dryer in his laundry
room, beaten to the point where his jaw was broken and suffering multiple
stab wounds where he lay in a pool of his own blood. The rage involved in
his murder still tells me he knew this individual that killed him. The fact
that there was no sign of forcible entry reinforces the belief it was
someone he knew. And, the fact that Albert's four Labradour retrievers
never disturbred the neighbors nor attacked the killer as he left through
Albert's backdoor points directly at someone that even the dogs knew.

The Columbus Police will tell you that this case is still under
investigation. They have refused to ask for help from the GBI in solving
this murder and have refused to participate with America's Most Wanted in
airing a show on his unsolved murder.

Albert was a life long resident of Columbus, having owned two successful
home improvement businesses. He was drummer for the Columbus College (now
CSU) Jazz Band in the late '70's under the direction of Paul Van DerGhanst
and playing along with such jazz musician's as Tom Chadwick and Edward
Robinson. Albert had also played with his older brother Sid Wolf and also
David Ragsdale (now with Kansas). Albert was a "Buddy Rich" style of
drummer and I even remember Albert meeting Buddy Rich back in either '73 or
'74. He was a big fan of Billy Cobham, Lenny White and Steve Gadd, having
autographed photos of both Cobham and White. His favorite band had to be
the Yellowjackets and I remember him telling me his favorite Genesis tune
was Musical Box.

Albert and I may have differed in personalities like night to day. But, we
literally grew up "together". He was my partner for "catch", that past time
we've all shared of throwing the baseball back and forth just to pass time.
We were brothers, even though we had our share of discrepancies, we still
backed the other when it came down to it.

I don't know if we'll ever learn who killed Albert and why. There are other
things I'd like to discuss here, but every time I do, my family is treated
to ugly phone calls by the investigators claiming that I am giving out
non-published information and that this may be detrimental to the
investigation.. Well, if the investigators did their job and would solve
this heinous murder, maybe I'd quit runiing my mouth about what a poor job
they have done.

It was very nice of Will Dockery to dedicate our performance at the Loft
last night to the memory of Albert. Maybe reminding everybody that this is
still an unsolved murder will revive interest on our homicide unit's part.

Anyone with knowledge of who Albert was with or any information about his

death is asked to contact the Columbus Police Department's Homicide Unit at

(706) 653-3416 or (706) 653-3405 or contact Crime Stoppers at (706)

Sounds more like how you describe your relationship with Barbara.

Falling from Grace

Her eyes matched the shabby sepia hotel
the waitress told us the cream had a funny smell.
So we opted for black
before the ride back
to the city.

Mallard duck, mandolin, county fair
Ferris wheel wind
blows back her hair.
Falling from grace
it's a long way down there.

Ten years ago, man in a balloon
he went up high
and he fell to his doom.
All the while he was yelling
it wasn't pretty.

Everybody knows you've been cheating
wipe that smile from your face.

Everybody says I've been sober
Don't cry boy, you know what you done.

All I know is that I gotta turn it loose
three weeks now
and I'm headed for the noose.
Falling from grace it's a pity.

They think they're fixing
the world through fear
but they're out there
and I'm still in here.
So it goes by so fast
before the ride back
to the city.

The "willingly" part is questionable (only as to meaning), since a
Dockery is a bottom-of-the-energy-curve creation, a little pile of
overused chemicals ("shit") squeezing one more "life" twitch out of
the little heat energy and a couple of ATP molecules ("goobers in the
shit") that it has left.
It's "God," yes, but it can hardly be called "will."
It's called "Will."
It stands (well, you know what I mean) briefly at the head of the
shit (a trVe Shit Head), Commanding its Destiny (return to shit).
It thinks it can make a "living" selling "free Will" on UseNet,
but the fact is that it can't even give that shit (shit) away.

There is no fixation or fantasy, only your pathetically drooling mind
creates that.

Even were that true (it's not), you still create thousands of worthless
posts on Usenet every week while belching out your gaseous distresses on

After Dockery graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1885, he left
the family farm and purchased, with a $1000 gift from his grandmother,
tracts of forest and marshland outside of Cleveland, Mississippi in the
Mississippi Delta between the Yazoo River and the Sunflower River. First he
went into the lumber business, cutting trees and building a sawmill. As he
made more money he acquired more land; realizing that the bottom soil was
rich, he cleared the trees, drained the marshes of malaria-carrying
mosquitoes and began to plant cotton. Soon it became known that Dockery
needed manual labor, plenty of it, and he was willing to pay for it, so
laborers flocked there. Eventually, Will Dockery build a large cotton gin, a
post office and a company store which produced its own money.[3] By the
1930s, Dockery plantation was over 18,000 acres covering 28 square miles of
rich fertile river delta lowland. Will Dockery earned a reputation for
treating his workers fairly.[1]

Over the years, black laborers began to migrate to the Dockery Plantation,
to work in the fields and become tenant farmers or sharecroppers, a system
in which they leased land to cultivate, paying the owner a share of the
crop. The families lived on their land and grew their own gardens. Often
peripatetic blues muscians were attracted there for itinerant work and they
lived in what were called the "quarters" for bachelors, known for the
partying and drinking going on there. Here musicians, often drunk, played
their music far into the night. The guitar was particularly suited to the
rural Mississippi Delta musician.[4]

The Mississippi Blues Commission placed a historic marker at the site of the
plantation in recognition of its enormous importance in the development of
the Mississippi blues.

The blues
It is difficult to find traces of the earliest blues styles, but it was in
the delta, in Cleveland, Mississippi, that W.C. Handy heard a man singing a
blues in 1895.[5]
Although the complete history will never be known, there is a central theme
to the development of what is known as the blues, and that is the plantation
that Will Dockery built outside of Cleveland. Although Dockery was unaware
of the music his laborers played in their quarters at "house parties" during
their off hours, his plantation provided a particularly fertile atmosphere
for musicians to gather and play their music while others listened and
danced. It is difficult to know what Mississippi music would have emerged
without the musical mix of Tommy Johnson, Charley Patton, and Robert
Johnson.[6]

Historic Marker
A marker designating Dockery Plantation as a site on the Mississippi Blues
Trail is an acknowledgment of the important contribution of the plantation
to the development of the blues in Mississippi.[2]

The marker was placed in Cleveland, Mississippi. Governor Haley Barbour
stated:

I’m pleased to include Dockery Plantation on the Mississippi Blues Trail.
Apart from the town’s unique historical legacy, which includes printing its
own money, Dockery was home to famed Bluesman Charley Patton and played a
significant role in the development of the Delta Blues.[7]
