Much-beloved corsetiere Amy Crowder, who moved around but spent much of her
life in Kansas City,Missouri, died in May at the age of 39.
http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/kansascity/obituary.aspx?n=amy-crowder&pid=143100061
says she died on May 22nd...but other reports claim she was found dead on
the 21st and may have died on the 14th.No one had heard from her since the
13th and her Twitter and Webcam had abruptly stopped updating on the 9th.

A cause of death has yet to be determined, but it appears to be a heart
attack (her father died of a heart attack at a younger age than she did,
though her survivors include her mother and a grandmother).

Her business website http://www.waspcreations.com/ is still up as if
nothing is wrong, and her Facebook,Myspace,Youtube etc profiles continue,
along with a blog she had apparently barely started to write,
but she was buried on May 27th and her personal effects were auctioned
on June 26th.See Google on her name for more details.

A DIFFERENT Amy Crowder is a contributor (not listee) of Findagrave.com
so don't confuse them!

The World Trade Center towers MUST rise again,
at least as tall as before...or terror has triumphed.

Corsetiere...now there's a word you don't hear often these days.

I checked and you're correct. Now I have to rethink my whole life.

Charlene filted:

And I (wishful thinking perhaps) have trouble *not* reading the name in the
subject line as "Ann Coulter"....r

Google on the name returns mainly material about the Missouri corsetiere
but the Findagrave contributor's post saying she lives in DeSoto County
shows up...and Missouri doesn't HAVE a DeSoto County.(I believe the
Mississippi county that was included in the districts represented by
Jamie Whitten as district attorney (1933-41) and Congressman (1941-95)
is the one referred to).

Missouri does have a town named DeSoto. It's in Jefferson County.
