I have often heard that Barney Hill of "The Interrupted Journey" fame (or,
if you prefer, infamy) died of natural causes though under suspicious
circumstances. Can anyone supply me with the details surrounding his
death? E-mail responses most gratefully received.

Thanks!

Hello!

Poor Barney died in February 1969 at age fourty-six of a cerebral
hemorrhage. There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his
death.

^^^^^^^^^^ literally, "friendly greetings"

Mystery novel fans will of course know that a cerebral hemorrhage will be
diagnosed if a certain popular medication is followed by alcohol. I don't
recall the details. Certainly in principle it is possible to arrange murder
to look like a cerebral hemorrhage. :^)
